The hut stands at the center of the northern cirque of Sorapiss, almost on the edge of the rocky base where the waterfall emerges and plunges down.

Rifugio Vandelli is located just a few minutes from the famous Lake Sorapis, nestled in one of the most evocative environments of the Dolomites.
It has always been a point of reference for hikers, walkers, and mountain lovers seeking an authentic place where they can stop, refresh themselves, and experience the mountains with respect and a slower pace.
